Trade Show and Environmental Design
Bringing the brand to life at scale, turning complex messaging into clear, engaging experiences.
AAOS (American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons) 2026
AAOS is the world’s largest orthopaedic meeting, which is an opportunity for great exposure, but presents the challenge of competing visibility with other major names. My role was to visually optimize the booth to quickly communicate range of the product portfolio, features of highlighted products, and how they can better heal patients. The main solution was cross-departmental collaboration with the scientific marketing team to create product display walls and an informational video that included in-house product demonstrations, product detail imagery, and physician testimonials. This resulted in higher show traffic and leads.
SAWC (Symposium on Advanced Wound Care) Fall 2025
SAWC is the leading interdisciplinary wound care conference. Hosted in Las Vegas for Fall 2025, the obstacle was a thematic setting and brand establishment in a large space. To meet these needs, the infrastructure featured curved counters to mimic card tables and two prominent full-size LED screens. My scope of work included filming detail-oriented product shots that could be viewed from a distance on the show floor, accompanied by backlit posters quickly communicating the range of product sizes, and a takeaway deck of cards where each suit featured a product that matched the counters where product demonstrations were held. These connected details drove increased brand recognition and received positive feedback from internal teams and executive stakeholders.
Celebration of Life Gala
LifeNet Health hosts a biennial Celebration of Life Gala, an elegant fundraising evening for the LifeNet Health Foundation. My role is to create an environmental experience that maintains the brand while communicating the impact donors, recipients, and their families have on the community at large.
2024, “Virginia is for Donation”
My initial year at LifeNet Health was the first time a theme was implemented at the gala. My scope focused on creating physical assets to visually own the large space. Mirroring the renowned “Virginia is for Lovers” campaign, the concept drove philanthropic compassion home with every guest by displaying meaningful statistics on a large scale. This emphasized the need for donation within Virginia and the impact we can have beyond state lines. The event was well-received by sponsors and leadership, and reinforced the need for a unique look and experience for this occasion.
2026 “Ripples of Impact”
Building on the thematic momentum from the previous gala, my scope has increased to full visual ownership. The evening has expanded to two floors of the venue, which will be a physical and metaphorical narrative transformation using color cues and environmental experiences from one floor to the next to connect impactful stories supported by statistics. The environment is inspired by the natural gradation of ripples across water, illustrating how a single “yes” transforms and expands endlessly, creating lasting transformation and restored health.
